One of Seneca High School’s pitchers, Tristen Hudson, committed to the University of West Virginia September 24. He said that his reason for choosing West Virginia was because they had the best coaching staff and facilities of the schools he visited.  He added that he loved the city of Morgantown because of its blue collar, friendly atmosphere.  His high school head coach, Andy Bay, added that West Virginia offers division one athletics with a great baseball program.  He also believes that Tristen will be able to compete for a starting position as a freshman.  Coach Bay believes that Tristen will do well in college since he has a great arm with the potential to become even stronger.  Tristen believes that the playoffs he has played in and the intensity he has played at during his high school career has prepared him for the next level.
