Game Recap

After dropping two games last week to Crescent, Seneca defeated Pendleton Thursday night in a must win game to keep their region title hopes alive. Furman Wilson got the bats going again for the Bobcats with his first career home-run to lead off the game for Seneca in the bottom of the 1st. Tristen Hudson, allowed only 4 hits and 1 run in 6.2 innings of work, and with a little help from the defense, forced Pendleton into 3 inning ending double plays. In a true team effort, Matthew Burgess, Walker Lathrop, Petey Ridley, and Trey Hawk each had an RBI on the night.
After getting a little help from West-Oak in a win over Crescent as well last night, Seneca now sits alone in first place in the region. The Bobcats will travel to Pendleton tonight with a chance to take the title of Region Champions for the first time since 1999. 1st pitch is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
