Game Recap

The Bobcats wrapped up their regular season last Friday at Franklin County High School, in Carnesville, GA. The bats looked to be fine tuned as Seneca begins playoff play Tuesday. The offense totaled 13 hits on the night with Jack Fassino, Tristen Hudson, Walker Lathrop, and Petey Ridley all having multiple hits. Fassino and Lathrop also had a home-run each in the contest. After the first three innings, the Bobcats looked to be in control of the game, leading 12-2, but Franklin County made it a game again. They scored 7 runs in the bottom of the 4th after some mistakes from Seneca on the mound and in the field.

Seneca players and coaches are confident about their pitching and defense heading into the playoffs, and if the offense can continue the success it has had in the last few weeks, the Bobcats think the can make something very special out of an already successful season.

The first playoff game is Tuesday, April 25 at home against Berea. First pitch is scheduled for 6pm.
