Game Recap

Seneca tallied a huge win as they upset Pendleton to end their 13 game win streak. Rachel Strader landed a long goal early in the first half. Later in the first Leesee Chastain added another with a long distance free kick making the score 2 to 0. Pendleton came out strong in the second half but Seneca matched their intensity. Eventually Pendleton was able to put in two goals to tie the game in regulation. The score remained tied through extra periods and went to PK’s. Seneca’s final shooter Emily Steele pounded her shot past the keeper to win the game. This moves Seneca to a 4 and 2 record in region play with 2 games remaining.
