Kimbrell and Reeves win SHS Athletics Bass Tournament

Scott Reeves & Brady Kimbrell

Brady Kimbrell and Scott Reeves won the 2017 Seneca High School Athletics Bass Fishing Tournament on Saturday, September 30 with a 5 fish weight of 14.39 pounds.  They won $1800 for their effort.  Reeves also won the Big Fish competition with a fish weighing in at 4.53 pounds taking home $420 for the biggest fish of the tournament.

Erik Martin and Brock Taylor finished second with a 5 fish weight of 12.86 pounds earning the $800 second place award.

Bo Hill and Wade Hodges won $500 for their 5 fish weight of 11.76 pounds.  Carl Whitfield and Carl Hunnicutt finished 4th winning $200 with a 5 fish weight of 10.21 pounds while 5th place finisher Bill Pinion also won $200 with a 5 fish weight of 9.88 pounds.

The Seneca Athletic Department wishes to thank Cobb Oxford of Oxford Farms in Anderson for sponsoring the tournament.  They also wish to thank Portronics of Greenville for conducting the weigh in and the staff of Anderson County’s Green Pond Landing for use of their facility.
