ANDERSON, S.C. – The Seneca High School softball team improved to 7-3 overall on Wednesday night, with a 10-0 win over non-region opponent Westside High School. The win is Seneca’s fifth straight victory.

Maria Molloseau had another strong pitching performance, limiting the Rams to just 3 hits in 5 innings of work, while striking out 8 in the contest. Molloseau was 1-for-2 at the plate with a double and 1 run scored.

Shelby Evilsizer led the offensive charge for the Lady Bobcats going 2-for-3 with 3 RBI’s, 2 runs scored and 1 double. Jasmine Morse and Natalie Windham had 2 hits and 2 runs apiece, with Windham posting an RBI. The Lady Bobcats pulled away from Westside with a 7-run 3rd inning. Seneca had 14 total hits in the game.

Seneca will play again tomorrow, March 23rd, in their rescheduled game from Tuesday night against Pendleton High School. The game is at Pendleton with first pitch slated for 5:30 PM.
