Bobcats News · Lady Cats Finish 3rd In Charleston

The Seneca Lady Cat Basketball team finished third in the Atlantic Division of the Charleston Carolina Invitational Tournament over the Christmas break. The Lady Cats defeated Bishop McGuinness from Kearnesville, NC by a score of 51-34 to begin the tournament. In the second game the Lady Cats fell to the host team of Cane Bay by a score of 56-45. The Lady Cats came back on the final day of the tournament to defeat Berkeley (SC) by a score of  53-47. Seneca was lead in scoring over the week by Anne-Hamilton Leroy with an average of 17.7 points per game in the three contest. Anne Hamilton was also named to the all tournament team. The Lady Cats were presented with the Team Sportsmanship Award for their site location.

The Lady Cats return to action Friday night when they travel to Central to face Daniel High School. Tip off is at 6pm.
