Lady Cats to face Newberry in Upper State Clash

The Seneca Lady Cats will face Newberry Saturday in a rematch of last year’s game Upper State title game. The Lady Cats punched their ticket with a 61-41 win over cross-county rival Walhalla in the third round. Tip Off is at 2pm at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. Tickets may be purchased at the school

Lady Cats to host Lady Razorbacks

The Seneca Lady Cats will host cross-county rival Walhalla Monday evening with a trip to the Upperstate Finals on the line. The Lady Cats defeated Berea Thursday evening at Berea 50-48 to advance to the third round while Walhalla upset top seed Fairfield-Central on the road to advance. Lady Cats Celebrate Senior Night in Style

The Lady Cats basketball team defeated Crescent by a score of 61-30. The Lady Cats were led in scoring by Anne Hamilton Leroy with 20 points. Tadjia Brown added 11 points and Kaliah Kendrick added 10. The Lady Cats honored senior manager Amya Amaker at the end of the contest. Amya is the lone senior

SHS Athletics Bass Fishing Tournament – March 24, 2018

The Seneca Bobcat Athletic Department will be hosting the 3rd annual Bass Fishing Tournament on March 24, 2018.  Prizes totaling $2800 will be given away, with $1700 going to the winner!  The tournament will take place at Green Pond Landing in Anderson, SC, and the entry fee is $100 per boat ($125 after March 22). 

Track practice begin Monday!

The Bobcat boys’ and girls’ track teams will begin practice on Monday, January 29, at 4:00 pm at the high school track.  Both teams will be defending their region championships, and look to improve upon strong state meet finishes from last spring.  Any athletes who plan to run track should be at practice on Monday.
