The Bobcats traveled to Hanna Wednesday night, and faced arguably the best pitcher in the state in Clemson commit, Jackson Lindley. Lindley was able to hold the Cats to 0 hits and 0 runs through his 5 innings of work. However, the pitching from junior, Ryan Moore, along with outstanding defense, kept things close, as Moore went 6 innings against the #2 5A team in the state allowing only 2 hits and surrendering 0 runs as well. The relievers of each team, Jackson Bryant from Hanna, and Coleman Smith for Seneca, continued to keep both teams off the board for the next few innings. After both teams failed to capitalize with runners in scoring position in the 7th inning, the game went to extras. It was there in the bottom of the 8th inning, with a runner on 3rd and two outs, the Will McGregor was able to sneak a ball through the right side of the infield to give the Yellow Jackets the 1-0 win over Seneca. The Bobcats will return to action Friday, March 9, as the host Pickens in a non-region matchup. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 pm
